Coalition Australia Appoints Trent Nihill as General Manager

SYDNEY — 9 October 2025 — Coalition, the world's first Active Insurance provider designed to prevent digital risk before it strikes, today announced the appointment of Trent Nihill as the company’s General Manager for Australia. Nihill, a veteran cyber underwriter, will lead the next phase of Coalition's growth and expansion across the Australian market.

“Trent's performance in launching and growing our underwriting operation has been exceptional,” said Kyle Bryant, Coalition’s Head of International. “He has the strategic vision and deep market experience needed to scale Coalition to the next level in Australia.”

Nihill has worked as a specialist in the cyber and financial lines space for nearly 15 years, focusing on insurance areas including Cyber, Professional Indemnity, and Directors & Officers (D&O) coverage. In his previous roles, he led cyber underwriting teams and managed portfolios for major global carriers in Australia, demonstrating a proven track record of profitable growth and market innovation.

“We’ve been able to build a truly incredible business in Australia over the last two years. I’m looking forward to continuing to drive our mission of protecting the unprotected and fundamentally changing how organisations manage cyber risk,” commented Nihill. “Coalition is actively helping policyholders by combining superior technology and real-time cybersecurity insights with insurance best practices. I’m excited to lead the team here in Australia and drive a more active era of cyber insurance for Australian businesses.”
