Coalition Ranks #57 Among Fastest-Growing Companies on Deloitte’s 2023 Technology Fast 500

Active Insurance Provider Listed in Top 10 of Bay Area Companies with 2,700% Revenue Growth from 2019 to 2022

SAN FRANCISCONovember 9, 2023 — Coalition, the world's first Active Insurance provider designed to prevent digital risk before it strikes, today announced that it has been recognized as the 57th fastest-growing company in North America on Deloitte’s annual Technology Fast 500™ list. Coalition grew 2,700% during the ranking evaluation period of the last three fiscal years. Within the top 500 companies, Coalition ranked the 11th fastest-growing in the fintech sector and 9th fastest in the Bay Area.

"Coalition’s ranking as one of the fastest-growing companies in North America shows how many businesses need protection from fast-moving and far-reaching digital risks,” said Coalition’s CEO and co-founder Joshua Motta. "Every day, we help to keep organizations safe from these dangers with a new kind of insurance, called Active Insurance, that does more than cover losses—it helps organizations prevent digital risks before they strike. We’re honored by this recognition and excited to continue protecting the unprotected as we  grow.”

In addition to launching Active Insurance, Coalition credits its tremendous growth to being a tech-enabled insurance provider. The company has launched its own full-stack insurance carrier, Coalition Insurance Company, expanded its insurance distribution model globally to the U.K., Canada, and Australia, and launched CoalitionAI, a new initiative to deploy generative AI to help brokers and businesses protect themselves from cyber risk.

Now in its 29th year, the Deloitte Technology Fast 500™ provides a ranking of the most innovative, fastest-growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences, fintech, and energy tech companies — both public and private — in North America. The winners are selected based on their fiscal year revenue growth percentage from 2019 to 2022.

To be eligible for recognition, companies must own proprietary intellectual property or technology that is sold to customers in products that contribute to a majority of the company’s operating revenues. Companies must have base-year operating revenues of at least $50,000 and current-year operating revenues of at least $5 million. Additionally, companies must be in business for at least four years and be headquartered in North America.

Coalition has grown its global employee headcount by more than 24% in the last year alone and still has open roles. For more information about working at Coalition, visit https://www.coalitioninc.com/careers.
