Increase Efficiency with Self-Service Tools on the Broker Platform

We all know cyber risk is dynamic and rapidly changing, and that often means brokers have to work quickly to keep up.

When time is of the essence, waiting on delayed communications or important information to make the best decisions for your client can be costly. Fortunately, Coalition recognizes the value of having timely and relevant information at your disposal.

Our Broker Platform is designed to meet the demands of a growing, fast-paced cyber insurance market. We strive to meet the evolving needs of our brokers, which is why we optimize for self-sufficiency and provide on-demand resources.

Let’s take a look at some of the self-service benefits in the Broker Platform and how they can help brokers be more impactful with their clients every day.

Ensure your clients are covered across multiple lines

Brokers are always looking out for their clients’ best interests, and sometimes business risks exceed the limitation of a cyber insurance policy. That’s why we make it easy for you to see when a client is eligible for Active Executive Risks Insurance products offered by Coalition.

With visibility provided directly in the Broker Platform, you can determine if your client is eligible for any additional offerings in our Executive Risks product suite: Directors & Officers Liability (D&O), Employment Practices Liability (EPL), Fiduciary Liability, and Crime.

Increased Efficiency 1

Brokers can see if their clients are eligible for additional insurance products directly in the Broker Platform.

In some cases, we can provide an estimated cost of the policy premium based on information provided during the cyber insurance quoting process. We even pre-populate your client’s basic account information so you don’t have to re-enter it.

With the Broker Platform, you can find out which accounts are eligible for Executive Risks products without any additional work, making it faster and easier to help ensure your clients are covered across multiple lines.

Expedite binding with signed signature bundles

When it’s time to bind a policy, the last thing you want to do is wait around for policy issuance. The Broker Platform solves this problem with the option to upload a signed signature bundle, which puts the binder and policy documents in your hands faster.

Increased Efficiency 2

Brokers can expedite the binding process by uploading a signed signature bundle directly in the Broker Platform.

With the Broker Platform, you have the ability to directly upload your client’s signed signature bundle as you’re binding a policy or at a later time. No more bottlenecks, no more waiting in the dark for cyber policy documents — you maintain control over your accounts.

Once you upload a signed signature bundle, we review the account and issue the cyber policy — usually within one business day. If you don’t upload a signed signature bundle, you can proceed as normal, and we’ll offer to email your client so they can electronically sign for their policy.

Download loss runs and invoices without delay

Need a quick document? No time to chat? The Broker Platform can increase efficiency by making loss runs and policy invoices available on a self-serve basis.

Increased Efficiency 3

Brokers can download loss runs for their clients directly in the Broker Platform.

If your client’s policy is set to renew, you may want to download a loss run from Coalition. Fortunately, the vast majority of Coalition policyholders do not have claims, making it quick and easy to generate these documents for you.

Increased Efficiency 4

Brokers can access policy invoices for their clients directly in the Broker Platform.

And if you need to download a policy invoice, it’s readily available in the Broker Platform. This means fewer emails, less back-and-forth communication, and more focus on growing your book of business.

Coalition is committed to helping brokers increase efficiency with self-service tools. We’re routinely making updates to the Broker Platform, including improvements that can optimize your cyber quoting experience and help you become a more empowered risk advisor.
